east kingsford parkThere are two parks maintained by Breitung Township. One park is located in East Kingsford. This park includes playground equipment, a baseball field, a basketball court, and a warming building. There is also a skating rink in the winter months at this park. New for 2006! - merry go round, 2 spring riders, a tarantula climber, and a new pavillion with electricity.east kingsford park

 

 

 

quinnesec parkThe other park Breitung Township maintains is located in Quinnnesec. This park has playground equipment, two baseball fields, a soccer field, a new picnic pavilion, a new skateboard park, and a warming building. This park also has winter ice skating.

WINTER ICE SKATING HOURS:

 

Quinnesec Rink - Lincoln Avenue, Quinnesec Phone 779-1133

East Kingsford - South Jackson Street, East Kingsford Phone 776-0993

Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-8pm

Friday 3:30pm-9pm

Saturday 12:00pm-9pm

Sunday 12:00pm-8pm

* On school breaks and holidays, the hours will be 12:00pm-9pm daily

The ice skating rinks will close early or not open due to heavy snow or excessive cold weather.

Misconduct including horseplay etc, will not be tolerated.

Both Breitung Township ice skating rinks will close for the season at the end of February.
