AUGUST 3, 2010 PRIMARY ELECTION

Absent Voter ballots can be obtained through Monday, August 2nd.

Application for Absent Voter Ballot must be filled out, signed and submitted in order to recieve AV ballot. 

Those who do come in on Monday, August 2nd must vote their ballot before leaving the Clerk's office.  A private room is available for voting.

In addition, the Township office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 31st for those who would like to stop in and apply for an AV ballot.

The summer tax bills and garbage bills were mailed on July 1, 2010.  Your payment can be made on one check for both tax and garbage fees.

You can set up a payment plan to pay them with the Treasurer, Anne Cahee at 3851 Menominee Street, Quinnesec, MI or call (906) 779-2065.

If you want to apply for a deferment of taxes, which is being able to pay your Summer Tax along with your Winter Tax without any penalty, check with the Treasurer also.

 GARBAGE FEE

If you are being charged for a garbage fee on your camp or cottage, contact the Treasurer, Anne Cahee at (906) 779-2065.
