Dog License is available.

You can purchase your dog license at the Breitung Township Hall from November 1, 2011 through February 29, 2012 for $5.00 each.  Bring in their proof of rabies shot.  On March 1, 2012 you need to go to the county office to purchase them.

The 2011 Summer Tax were due on September 14, 2011.  Starting Sept. 15, 2011 add 1% interest; Oct. 1, 2011 add 2% interest; Nov. 1, 2011 add 3% interest, Etc.  Starting March 1, 2012 pay to Dickinson County Treasurer with 4% Adm. Fee (min. $1) plus 1% interest per month.  Check must clear or receipt is void.

                  Compost Pick-up

Per motion of the Township Board, there will be a $5.00 late charge as of September 15, 2011.  Oct. 1, 2011 add 1% penalty to the balance due; Nov. 1, 2011 add 1% to the balance due, continue to add 1% on the first of each month thereafter until paid in full.  If not paid by Nov. 30, 2012 the unpaid balance will go onto the 2012 Winter property tax bill as delinquent refuse.  Checks must clear or receipt is void.

The office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   There is a drop box for after hours.
